Strengthening Youth and Those Who Serve Them!
Georgia’s Child Professional Training, Inc. (GCPT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people and equipping them with the skills to sustain success, while elevating the professionals and organizations that support them. Established to disrupt cycles of disconnection and underdevelopment, GCPT fosters inclusive environments where growth, resilience, and leadership can flourish for youth on personal and professional levels. At the same time, we invest in communities and service agencies—mentors, educators, and support staff—through tailored workshops that build capacity, inspire sustainability, and promote best practices rooted in empathy and cultural competency. Whether facilitating roundtables with intergenerational leaders or designing immersive training for opportunity youth, the GCPT network delivers more than curriculum—we build confident individuals and resilient ecosystems.
At GCPT, we believe that every youth holds the potential to lead, contribute, and transform their communities. Whether it’s a young person or a service professional, effective training sets in motion a ripple effect of sustainable change that positively impacts youth, families, institutions, and entire communities.

I was not as serious about my GED as I should have been, but my mentor encouraged me and was there for me, and within 2 months I was able to graduate.
They supported me throughout my pregnancy, helped me get a job, and connected me with Covenant House to get an apartment for me and my daughter.
Animals are my passion and I’ve always wanted to work with them. I’m so grateful that they took me to volunteer at a local animal shelter, identified a Vet Tech program in Metro Atlanta, and helped me enroll in Gwinnett Technical College.
