“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” — Rabindranath Tagore

I am Georgia’s child — literally. My late mother, Georgia Biggins Bryant Wright, was a Sunday school teacher, social worker, and community advocate in our hometown of Savannah. Her legacy of service shaped my path, and as a lifelong resident, I’ve dedicated my entire career to uplifting the citizens of Georgia.

For the past 33 years, my professional experience has grown from frontline staff to executive leadership. I’m also a training facilitator, motivational speaker, management consultant, and domestic violence advocate. Moreover, my experience with successful implementation of local, state and federal pilots/initiatives include the following:

In December 2024, I was asked to serve as Interim Executive Director of Youth Enhancement Services, Inc. While leading YES, Inc. and applying my research-informed training curricula for youth and professional mentors, I spearheaded the successful launch of the organization’s flagship initiative, Just One Youth (JOY). Upon completing this assignment in August 2025, I founded Georgia’s Child Professional Training, Inc. (GCPT) in honor of my beloved mother — a woman whose short but awe-inspiring life was devoted to Georgia’s children and families.

I believe that empowered youth can transform a community when guided by those who truly understand. At GCPT, we’re building a future rooted in healing, sustainability, leadership, and legacy. Please join us — your voice, your gifts, and your presence can help shape the next generation.

In service and solidarity,

P. Bryant-James
